Melrose Gamelodge , a farm with tradition from pioneer days, nestles in a unique landscape on the edge of the Khomas Hochland in Khomasadal Windhoek. Farm Melrose was previously owned by Frank James Bassingthwaighte famously known from Frontier historical books as the " first permanent white South West African settler". The rooms are fitted and tastefully furnished with full length windows, air conditioners, lampshades, wardrobes and designed with en-suite bathrooms. Each room is designed with a balcony that overlooks the surroundings.

Melrose Park offers unique Namibian country style dishes from the stylish restaurant with its fully licensed Cheetah Bar and grill. A swimming pool is available onsite. Guests can enjoy walks in the game camp or game drives.The nearby house dam attracts many bird species. Game can be observed from raised or concealed hides.
