Important Information
General
All bookings are subject to availability and written confirmation from Maweni Lodge.
Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Maweni Lodge reserves the right to amend rates or conditions without prior notice.
Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.
The balance is due 7 days before arrival (or on arrival for walk-ins, if agreed in writing).
Proof of payment must be emailed to mawenilodge@gmail.com.
No booking is confirmed until proof of payment is received.

Check-in: 14:00–18:00
Check-out: 10:00
Occupancy and Use
Only registered guests are allowed overnight. Visitors must be approved by management.
No loud music, parties, or disruptive behaviour without prior arrangement.
The lodge is situated in a private game reserve — guests enter at their own risk.
Children must be supervised at all times around water, animals, and wildlife areas.
Liability
Maweni Lodge and its staff accept no responsibility for loss, injury, or damage to property or persons during the stay.
Guests are responsible for any damages or breakages caused. Replacement costs will be charged directly.
Pet Policy
Only allowed by prior arrangement and in pet-friendly units.
Owners must clean up after pets and ensure they don’t disturb wildlife or other guests.
Cancellation Policy for Maweni Lodge
Cancel more than 30 days before arrival: 100% of deposit refunded
Cancel 15–30 days before arrival: 50% of deposit refunded
Cancel less than 15 days before arrival / no-show: 0% refund
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email) and are only effective when acknowledged by Maweni Lodge.
