Matt’s Place offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a cosy ground-floor apartment, situated in the secure Ramsgate Palms complex and is a short walk from the beach. The apartment does not have a sea view, however, there is direct beach access to Ramsgate’s main “Blue-Flag” beach from the complex. Matt’s Place offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a cosy ground-floor apartment, situated in the secure Ramsgate Palms complex and is a short walk from the beach. The apartment does not have a sea view, however, there is direct beach access to Ramsgate’s main “Blue-Flag” beach from the complex.

The well-known Blue Lagoon Restaurant on the beach, as well as the Waffle House, are both a very short easy walk from the unit.

The apartment accommodates 4 guests, and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan, and linen and bath towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower-over-the bath, a toilet and a basin. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. A limited bouquet of DSTV channels is provided.

There is secure undercover parking adjacent to the unit for 1 vehicle only.

A once-off cleaning and laundry fee of R700 is charged in addition to the booking rate. This will cover cleaning before you arrive and after you depart, as well as laundry of all linen used during your stay. The unit is not serviced daily. If you require cleaning assistance during your stay, this can be arranged at the cost price.

Matt's Place is a family holiday home and we cater for small families and couples, seeking to enjoy a quiet sea-side holiday. The complex is governed by strict body corporate rules regarding noise. We cannot, under any circumstances, allow guests who book with the intention of having parties of any kind.

The complex offers controlled access with 24-hour patrolled security, and is secure on the perimeter with electric fencing. The complex also offers a laundromat, a fully secured communal swimming pool, and braai areas in lush tropical gardens.
