Welcome to Mapuzi Surf Lodge.We are located off the beaten track in a truly beautiful part of Southern Africa, half way between East London and Durban on the Wild Coast. Surf is good all year round but gets epic during the winter months. Various surf packages are available. Kayaking, boating and fishing along this spectacular coastline and rivers in the area are also a must. The rivers and mangrove forests are some of the most unspoiled in the country. Kayaking, boating and fishing along this spectacular coastline and rivers in the area are also a must. The rivers and mangrove forests are some of the most unspoiled in the country.

The lodge consists of a few Rondavels (traditional Xhosa round houses) with communal kitchen lounge and shower facilities. It is set in an unspoiled Xhosa village overlooking the ocean and the Mapuzi river below. Rolling grass hills is the norm around here so no shoes necessary unless you would want to go on one of the many coastal hikes in the area.The huts are comfortable and clean. Cooking facilities gas or outside fire braai area.
