Nearby attractions include an elephant sanctuary, a very large bird garden which is reputed to be the largest free-flying area in the Southern hemisphere, Monkeyland where you are able to mingle with the many different varieties of monkeys, and of course the opportunity to go on a whale-watching trip and witness whales, dolphins and Cape fur seals all within the bay.
