Loxton Lodge and Restaurant is a quaint guest house situated in Loxton, a picturesque town in the Karoo. This quiet town is rich in historical attractions and offers excellent bird-watching opportunities - making it an ideal retreat for those seeking a break from the bustling cities.

Accommodation is offered in either two bedrooms in the main house or a self-catering cottage. Both bedrooms sleep two guests while the cottage can accommodate eight guests. The two rooms can be booked together to create a family unit. The rooms make use of a communal kitchen and living area.

The self-catering cottage comprises three bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. This unit has its own braai area.

Guests can enjoy access to free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, the war museum, and secure parking on the property.

★★★★★ Die GPS koordinate en die werklike ligging verskil vreeslik, mens soek nogal na die plek. Die huisies was nie soos ons dit bespreek het nie, elk met eie badkamer, dit is wel na 'n effe ongemaklikheid reggestel. Die plekke is baie skoon en netjies.

I thought it was very cold, and had to ask for electric blankets, huge cement floors but only small carpet in front of bed.there was no water until an hour before we left, had to ask for bucket to carry water for toilet.Defiantly not worse the money. ★★★★★ A very clean and quiet village. The "Karoo Cottage" is a very cold building despite being there in July, it was warmer outside in the evening than inside. The shower head was very blocked with only about 20% of the nozzles working.....

★★★★★ The town is lovely. There are lots of other really nice accommodation. It feels safe and lots of walking and healthy outdoors in Loxton. I did not like the accommodation. The beds were SHOCKING!
