Lokovhela Mountain Cottage is situated in the Soutpansberg Mountains on the Morning Sun Nature Reserve which is a Natural Heritage Site. There are crystal clear mountain streams, waterfalls, indigenous forests and spectacular scenery.Warm days allow for walking and picnics or just to relax in the tranquility of the lodge next to our swimming pool. During the cooler evenings you can relax in front of the fireplace.The cottages are ideally situated to explore the area as the northern Kruger National Park, the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site and Venda which is full of scared sites.
Morning Sun Nature Reserve offer scenic sun downer drives up the Soutpansberg Mountains. You might come across antelope like Kudu's and/or the red ''duiker''.
Situated in a nature reserve Mashovhela Bush Lodge has a romantic and tranquil atmosphere which makes it an ideal venue for small and private weddings.
Mashovhela Bush Lodge on the Morning Sun Nature Reserve has a conference room and can accommodate up to 60 delegates.
Lokovhela Mountain Cottages has a play area for children and we also offer guided children's walks which can be booked at our reception.
Our bush meals are the prefect romantic gesture, take your loved one to a romantic setting whether it is at our small waterfall or the Mashovhela Rock pool or even the big baobab tree where you will be served a delicious bush meal.
