Regular visits of elephant, leopard, lion, rhino, waterbuck, kudu, zebra 'resident' baboons, genet, klipspringers, francolin and much more!
Available for exclusive use on a self-catering basis, you get the whole lodge and facilities exclusively. We accommodate parties of up to 14. If you wish to have guiding for more than ten guests per drive, there will be an additonal charge for the second vehicle and guide. We require 2 weeks notice to secure the second guide.

The minimum price for the exclusive use of the lodge for 2019 is 14,400 rand per night, equivalent to the price of the first 8 guests, even if there are less than 8 guests PLUS the Conservation Levy of 150 rand per person per day. There is a minimum stay of two nights. Additional guests, above 8, are then charged 1,800 rand per person per night, plus the Conservation Levy. Children under 2 are not charged for, excepting the Conservation Levy of150 rand per person per day, that applies for all ages.

As a self-catering lodge you bring the food and drink and our chef does the cooking to order! Delicious meals tailored to your requirements and prepared by our chef in our commercail kitchens. Or if you prefer, make use of our Boma.

We offer a flexible choice of independant villas. 2 are ensuite, with king-size beds suitable for 2 guests each. I villa is suitable for families as has 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 2 ensuite bathrooms, a large living room and it's own pool. The final villa, also suitable for families takes upto six guests and has 2 ensuite king-size bedrooms and a connecting room with two single beds. Please see the Room Plan.

We have two game drives a day each approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. Our guides are passionate and professional, with in-depth knowledge of our wildlife and reserve. This is a malaria free reserve which stretches over 38 000 hectares. It is home to the Big Five as well as 129 mammals, 350 birds and 2,000 plant species. The combination of the Waterberg Mountains and the lowland bushveld supports a wide diversity of mammal species in the reserve. There are also San paintings in the Reserve, viewable on request.
The reserve is a 2.5-hour drive north of Johannesburg, reachable on excellent roads.
