You could use Linquenda as a base to explore some of the surrounding 106 wine cellars, the Cape Peninsula, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Cape Town, Paarl, Franschhoek and Wellington, all within an hour's drive from the farm.

Our central location means we are a mere 11 km from the nearest beach at the Strand, and 30 km from Cape Town International Airport. We are also in close proximity to horse riding, mountain bike routes, great golf courses, and hiking trails. The cultural centres, theatres, art galleries, museums, and international art collections are also within close range. Wildlife is represented in the form of the local crocodile farm, cheetahs and birds of prey at Spier, Butterfly World, and several game reserves nearby.

Linquenda Guest Farm offers two self-catering apartments, each with two bedrooms comprising one queen-size and two single beds that can be joined together. The apartments boast two bathrooms, one en-suite, with all necessary amenities as well as a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, and oven.

A spacious lounge, with a peek of the Winelands, invites you outside onto the deck with barbecue facilities and a beautiful view of Table Mountain. These units have air-conditioning to keep you cool during the hot summer months and a flat screen TV and decoders for entertainment during those cosy winter months, next to a beautiful fireplace.

Linquenda Guest Farm recently added a stand-alone, self-catering cottage to the available facilities. Pecanut Cottage, named after the big pecan nut trees close by, offers a fresh, modern interior that would make any domestic goddess green with envy. The two bedrooms with stone-finish bathroom promise a luxurious and relaxing stay.
