The lodge is on a plateau in the Waterberg Mountains at an altitude of 1500m. The temperature here is approximately 6 degrees cooler than in the valley below in summer months with winter also being milder.It is an ideal restful countryside breakaway for those wanting to escape the stresses of work to spend a few days relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of the lodge.The lodge is often used as a base from where day trips can be made to explore the area. Kransberg Country Lodge is a self-catering lodge. A high clearance vehicle (SUV or AWD) is recommended to use to the lodge because the road conditions can be unpredictable based on weather conditions.
