Kloofhuis is ideally situated to explore the town’s rich historical heritage and tranquil natural surroundings; it is within walking distance of the centre of town and the 'Heritage Walk', which takes you to tourist attractions such as the Belhaven Museum, Fernlea and Stopforth House, Jock of the Bushveld Monument as well as the Block House which was used during the South African war by the British troops. Various other activities, from birdwatching to hiking and biking, can also be enjoyed in the area.
