Kiwandaniu House is located in Shela village on Lamu Island off the north eastern coast of Kenya. The house offers luxury accommodation for up to six people, and all your needs will be attended to by the staff to ensure a relaxing holiday. The house features three bedrooms and is fully staffed with chefs, stewards, laundry ladies, captains, and managers for your convenience. The house offers a true island feel, with a large courtyard, as well as a swimming pool shared with one of our sister houses. We will ensure that you are met at the Manda/Luma airport by one of our staff members who will escort you to the traditional boat and drive you to Shela. From here you will also be escorted to the house.

Luma Island offers a variety of festivals throughout the year and has many activities to keep you busy. Guests can snorkel on the reefs or swim with the dolphins, enjoy a sunset cruise or simply explore the island. All activities can be arranged through the house manager on your request.
