About Kingfisher Cottages

Kingfisher Cottages is situated a few meters from Long Beach at Agate Terrace. It is 7 km off the tar road on a gravel road - here you will find Kingfisher Cottages nestled in a lush garden. There are two fully self-contained cottages.

The first cottage has two bedrooms,main room has a double bed and bunk beds, the second room has 2 single beds and bunk beds . A The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer and a box freezer. It has a gas stove and a microwave. One bathroom has a bath and shower and the second bathroom has a shower. A sliding door leading from the lounge opens onto the deck overlooking the beautiful garden. Enjoy sitting on the deck on a summer evening gazing at the stars or relax with a sun downer.

The second cottage has an open-plan kitchen-lounge area . The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a single bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, a box freezer, a microwave and a gas stove. The lounge's sliding door opens onto a patio and a deck overlooking the garden.

Both cottages have a TV set with open view guests welcome to bring your own decoder. Portable braais are supplied. Guests must please supply their own bath and beach towels.

There is good fishing to be had in Port St Johns, at Poenskop, First Beach and Second Beach or in the Umzimvubu River. Guests can challenge the quaint 9-hole golf course in town. There are numerous establishments to enjoy a hearty meal.

Beach: we are situated on Long Beach you have 8kms of unspoiled beach to enjoy

Golf: come play on our quaint 9 hole course in town 12 kms from kingfisher cottages do not be deceived its not as easy as it looks

All vehicles and other contents are stored at the owners risk. Noise levels are to be kept to a minimum and all noise is to stop at 11pm. No contents are to be removed from the cottages. Please be considerate to the other cottage guests.

★★★★★ Kitchen drawers and doors were broken. Kitchen taps seized, could not get water. The maintenance person did repair the tap,but the next day it seized again. Premises should be checked before the next visitors get in. The outside shower and toilet should be incorporated inside the cottage(especially for usuage during the cold winter months).
