It is situated on the shores of the Albert Falls Dam. The reserve offers a variety of antelope and small wild life and especially a wide variety of water and land birds. The reserve boasts over 190 species of birds which we'd like to share with you. Guests can also access the Battle Fields of Natal within a couple of hours drive, as well as Big Five game reserves, also around 2-3 hours drive away. The lodge is also not far from the Drakensberg Mountains and the famous Midlands Meander.
