The hotel has a well-stocked bar, a wine cellar and a traditional restaurant, the cuisine being French oriented.

The hotel started way back in the late 1920s as a club where members could spend some time at the nearby shooting range and then come to the club for a good lunch or dinner. The means of transport was horses and chariots. The Club has since changed ownership several times since then, with the present owner having taken management of the club from 1986.

Kentmere Club offers accommodation in 16 self-contained rooms, all set out in the lavish garden. Each room has a fireplace to keep guests cosy on cold Limuru nights; and has a telephone extension connected to the reception.
