The kasbah is located in the heart of the Draa Valley, between the larger cities of Zagora (51 km away) and Agdz (42 km away). Guests will find shops, restaurants and bars in the centre of Zagora, and there is a bus station around 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The area is very well known due to the historic kasbah.This charming castle, dating from the 18th century, is the only historic caïdale kasbah in the Draa Valley to be restored and transformed into a hotel. Facilities available to guests at the family-friendly eco hotel include a lobby with currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom, restaurant, car park and a bicycle hire service. There are 10 guest rooms in total.The rooms of the kasbah are decorated in colourful, traditional Moroccan styles. Some of them have a nice view of the village and palm groves, and all have a private bathroom with a shower. A double or king-size bed also features in all rooms as standard.There is an outdoor swimming pool with a separate children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar, and sun loungers are laid out for guests to use. Guests may also explore the surrounding area by bike (fees apply). The kasbah offers a number of excursions, including 4X4 trips, camel rides, visits to the beautiful countryside and nights spent in bivouacs in the desert (fees apply).The kasbah offers traditional meals made from seasonal natural produce, with a continental breakfast served each morning and set menu options for lunch and dinner in the typical restaurant.From Ouarzazate and Marrakech, by car, bus or taxi, guests must take the road to Zagora and after the city of Agdz continue for 42 km. The kasbah is on the main road (exactly 1 km after the Afriquia petrol station).
