Kalahari Monate Lodge consists of six luxurious self-catering, fully furnished chalets with air-conditioning, as well as camping facilities with very neat ablution blocks. There is also a swimming pool for guests to cool off in. Barbecue and camping facilities with ablution blocks can be found in the camping ground, and the lodge also offers two thatched lapas and a small kiosk.

Kalahari Monate Lodge offers an abundance of birdlife for bird enthusiasts. There are also various game species in the area, including gemsbok, springbok, zebra, eland, steenbok, wildebeest, camel, suricate, and ostrich. A telescope on the hill allows guests to view wildlife or enjoy the landscape. There is 37 km of gravel road through the park if you wish to go on a self-drive game-viewing trip, and three hiking trails are also available.
