Kaapsehoop Adventures

Kaapsehoop Adventures is located in Coetzeestroom, in the heart of the Berlin Forest. Guests have access to a communal boma that is equipped with barbecue facilities and cooking facilities, and picnic baskets can be supplied at an additional cost on request.Guests have a choice of staying in five comfortably furnished rooms. Kaapsehoop Adventures is located in Coetzeestroom, in the heart of the Berlin Forest. Guests have access to a communal boma that is equipped with barbecue facilities and cooking facilities, and picnic baskets can be supplied at an additional cost on request.

Guests have a choice of staying in five comfortably furnished rooms. One of the rooms is furnished with a queen sized bed and has a built-in log fireplace, all other rooms have a double bed, with accompanying bunk beds, single beds or 3/4 beds. one of these has a built-in log fireplace. Ablution facilities are shared and consist of male and female bathrooms with showers. There is no electricity but limited solar lightning is available and hot water is provided with a donkey boiler.

Kaapsehoop Adventures is a true nature lover’s paradise and with over 200 bird species, the area is the birdwatcher and photographer’s delight. Guests can go on hiking trails or guided tours to waterfalls, horseback riding, archery and mountain biking. Guests can also do tours of sites including Adams Calendar. Prices are available on request.
Several herds of wild horses roam the greater Kaapsehoop area and are often seen at Kaapsehoop Adventures.
