JustFor2 offers 4 self-catering accommodation units for 2: a cosy cottage (The Sunbird), an en-suite apartment (The Hoopoe) and 2 luxury cottages (The Lourie and The Kingfisher).
Situated in a very quiet setting in Wilderness and borders the Garden Route National Park. The indian ocean with its splendid beaches is at two minutes' drive only.
The LOURIE and the KINGFISHER cottages are 2 identical newly build units. Upmarket, spacious and freestanding cottages that come with a King size bed, en-suite shower room with walk in shower and kitchenette. Outside there is a large covered private deck where you can relax and enjoy the splendid views of Island lake and the Outeniqua mountains. The cottages are build against a slope, so you will need to walk some stairs to be able to enjoy this beautiful setting.
The SUNBIRD cottage offers a quiet and peaceful stay for 2 persons and comes with a Kingsize bed. It is a private freestanding unit with a separate entrance and off-road parking. The compact kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, a 2-plate cooker, toaster, kettle and the usual utensils. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. On the private deck you can have a braai or just enjoy the panoramic view of Island Lake and the Outeniqua Mountains, a perfect spot to relax and have a glass of wine while watching the sunset.
The en-suite HOOPOE apartment comes with a Kingsize bed and has a full bathroom (shower and bath). It is on ground level with a private entrance. The apartment is self catering and equipped with a 2-plate cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Outside you have private sitting areas, where you can relax, enjoy the garden and the bird life and have a BBQ (a Weber charcoal BBQ is available).
All units have Nespresso coffee machine and a heating and air conditioning system.
There is also free WiFi and satellite TV with DSTV.
Wilderness is centrally situated and is ideal to use as a base to explore the Garden Route and even the Klein Karoo, enabling you to avoid packing and unpacking your suitcases daily. Go for a stroll on the unspoilt beaches of the Indian Ocean or a walk in the forest. Alternatively, enjoy the birdlife of Island Lake in front of your door. Day trips to surrounding destinations can easily be fitted in, with Knysna less than an hour’s drive away while Oudtshoorn and Plettenberg Bay are both just over an hour’s drive away.
