Our home is situated on a unique little island on the Great Brak River in the world-renowned Garden Route. This double story wooden chalet is situated a mere 12 m from the river and can sleep up to 8 guests. We are close to all amenities and nearby attractions include various excellent golf courses, the R62 wine route, an incredible Game Farm ( Botlierskop), whale watching and shark cave diving, and the interesting town of Oudtshoorn with its many attractions. Close to Knysna and Plettenberg Bay - easy day trips.A peaceful paradise, with the beach around the corner,
Our home is on the banks of an estuary, seldom flowing ( the mouth is silted up and opens sporadically). We are a very short and lovely walk ( about 5-6 minutes) from an enormous expanse of white beaches and the sea.
We are not on a golf course, but are a short day trip from 9 acclaimed courses, including Mossel Bay, Pinnacle Point, Oubaai, George Golf Course, Kingswood Golf Course, Fancourt, Simola, Pezula and Goose Valley.
The Island is a very safe place for children, who have the freedom to explore without fear. Kindly note that small children should be carefully supervised due to the proximity to the river without fencing.
The house is very private, especially out of season, due to the fact that it is on a unique Island. You have a perfect frontage of the river and your own space.
Our home is cleaned after every use, all bedding is freshly laundered and open surfaces sanitised with a recognised sanitiser.
Botlierskop is very close and highly recommended. We are also a short day trip from the Knysna Elephant Park, Birds of Eden and Monkey Sanctuary. There are several other wildlife attractions nearby.
We are very close to a well known game park Botlierskop, which is approximately 16 km away.

Important Information
Any breakages should be reported immediately.
A R500 returnable deposit should be paid to cover any breakages/damages.
We are pet friendly, but be aware that there is no fencing around the property.
