INKWAZI GAME BREEDERS is a farm situated about 200 km North of Pretoria, near Mookgophong (Naboomspruit) in the Limpopo Province. The farm consists of more than a thousand hectares of scenic koppies and open plains with a variety of game species such as Kudu, Impala, Giraffe and Waterbok just to name a few.At INKWAZI we farm with Brahman and Nguni cattle and we also breed Friesian horses. Activities at INKWAZI GAME BREEDERS include fishing, rowing, hiking, horseback riding for experienced riders and mountain biking. Visitors are welcome to join in the farming activities like dipping the cattle or tagging new born calves.
Accommodation consists of 2 units, the Inkwazi Family Unit and Eagle’s Nest or the Glasshouse as many visitors would call it.
INKWAZI FAMILY UNIT
The Inkwazi Family Unit consists of 4 chalets and can sleep 12 guests in total. Chalets include:
1. The Eagle room with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower
2. The Cheetah room with a double and a single bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower
3. The Zebra room with a double bed and en-suite bathroom fitted with bath only
4. The Kudu chalet with twin beds and en-suite bathroom with bath only.
There can be 3 single beds added to the Jacuzzi room as an additional option.
There is a communal kitchen equipped with cutlery, crockery, kettle, microwave oven, stove, fridge and freezer. There is also a large, spacious, thatched main lodge which has an indoor dining area with a dining room table, a lounge area and a bar area.
Communal shower and toilet. Outside braai facilities. Indoor Jacuzzi with pool table, dartboard and table tennis and TV with DStv. Bed linen, toilet paper and towels are included.
The family unit looks out onto the beautiful Klein Palalariver. This type of accommodation is affordable and ideal for small groups of friends, family or team building.
EAGLE'S NEST:
Eagle’s Nest is a cosy glass house built on a dam accommodating a total of 4 to 5 people. This unit has a double bed and twin beds and a bathroom fitted with a bath only. There is a fully equipped kitchen with the basic cutlery, crockery, kettle, microwave oven, stove, fridge and freezer and an outside braai facility. Bed linen, toilet paper and towels are included. The cabin is ideal for the fishing enthusiasts or for a romantic break-away for 2. This unit looks out onto the dam with a scenic koppie in the background.
