Ibo Island Lodge is the perfect place to explore the Quirimbas Archipelago National Park in Northern Mozambique. Ibo Island’s magic is overwhelming. The sandbank beach the lodge uses is secluded and appears in the middle of the Indian Ocean, surrounded by clear blue water, accessed only by boat. Head out to our little piece of paradise for either breakfast or lunch served under our Bedouin tent.
Ibo’s treatments have been culturally inspired and can include traditional body scrubs prepared using Ibo coarse sea salt and zesty lemon grass grown locally as part of the lodges’ garden project.
With a choice of 14 all individually designed sea facing, garden or historical rooms. All wedding ceremony includes: ceremony set-up, local flowers – décor and bouquets, simple wedding cake, private reception meal, blessing from our lodge manager.
We have a very varied range of activities at Ibo Island Lodge suitable for all ages. Generally guests partake in a multitude of experiences in combination with relaxation treatments or taking in the islands tranquillity, history and ambience.

Important Information
A booking request will be valid for 24 hours unless otherwise stated. The deposit must be paid, and it is the client’s responsibility to request and read the specific suppliers booking terms and conditions.
No person, organisation or employee of the company has authority to vary these booking conditions; and the company reserves the right to decline any booking.
A minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required within this period to guarantee the reservation. This deposit will only be refunded if the booking cannot be accommodated. Until this payment has been made, the reservation cannot be guaranteed. This may vary depending on the individual supplier booking terms and conditions that are part of the proposed product.
The full balance due is payable 45 days prior to travel date. If the full amount is not received in the due time, the company reserves the right to treat the booking as a cancellation.
