Erlebnishotel Sonnalp am Achensee is only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Achen and about a 10-minute walk from the swimming beach the centre of Maurach and the Rofan Cable Car. It offers a restaurant serving regional cuisine and a spa area with a big indoor pool and a waterfall.Spa facilities include an aromatic steam bath a Finnish sauna a hot tub a Kneipp basin a bio sauna and a selection of beauty treatments and massages.In winter the free ski bus stops directly opposite the Sonnalp Erlebnishotel and takes you all 3 ski areas in the region. The cross-country ski runs (a total of 200 km) start opposite the car park.In summer the hotel offers a large programme of activities including guided hikes climbing archery and bicycle tours.
