Hobbit's Cottage is part of a larger farm building on an eight-hectare site consisting of natural bushveld. The cottage is not connected to the power grid and has solar panels. There is also a borehole that provides water for all needs and can also be used as drinking water. the cottage features an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, as well as a small lounge area with a TV and DVD collection. Hobbit's Cottage is part of a larger farm building on an eight-hectare site consisting of natural bushveld. The cottage is not connected to the power grid and has solar panels.

There is also a borehole that provides water for all needs and can also be used as drinking water. the cottage features an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, as well as a small lounge area with a TV and DVD collection.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven, stove, microwave and a breakfast counter. There are portable braai facilities. Please note that there is no DStv, but Wi-Fi. The furniture is comfortable and the atmosphere is cosy and inviting.

There are a bedroom and a bathroom on the lower floor and a wooden set of stairs leading to the upper room with another two bedrooms, a toilet and an en-suite bathroom. Please note that the stairs are steep and may not be suitable for the elderly or guests with disabilities.

Two of the bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and the other has a double bed. There is plenty of storage space in the cupboards.

The whole site is a birdwatching enthusiast's paradise and small game can be seen regularly. Bowels can be heard regularly in the early hours of the morning.
