The cottage has a fantastic sea view, and the Umkomaas beach is only a 800m walk or drive from the Resort. At night one can fall asleep listening to the waves lapping the beach. The house faces East, so watching the sun rise from the patio is spectacular. There is a built in braai on the patio as well as patio furniture.The cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps maximum 6, there is a lovely lounge and dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. There are one and a half bathrooms and an outside shower.There is a communal swimming pool and children's playground
Where the Mkomasi river flows into the sea there is a lot of fishing and numerous dive charters set off from here. The beach is lovely for walking and playing in the shallows, but for lifeguards one needs to go to Scottburgh.
The Umkomaas golf course is right next to the Resort, you drive past it on the way to the resort, the entrance and Club House is approximately 1km away.
The resort is enclosed. There is a swimming pool with a baby pool. There is a play frame in the complex and a big grassy area for them to play.
Nothing is more romantic than watching the sun rise over the sea early in the morning. Or taking a quiet stroll along the beach at sunset.

Important Information
From the moment Covid-19 became a serious health risk in the world, before any restrictions on travel were implemented in South Africa, I ensured that the cleaning lady and administrator, the only people with access to the stand alone house between guest visits, increased the care taken when cleaning the house.
Whilst the house is obviously fully cleaned before and after each visit and each bed has mattress and pillow protectors changed together with the bedding, I felt it important to ensure that all smaller surfaces touched regularly were given specific attention:
Electronic and gate remotes; light switches; plug points; all keys; all door, cupboard and drawer handles; etc.
I trust that these measures will give comfort to you, our guests, that we take your safety very seriously.
