★★★★★ The Stoephuisie, now renamed the Sonvanger, is a spacious and comfortable unit with all the basics needed for a relaxing self catering stay. It has a large indoor fireplace which was suitable for braaing and for sitting in front of during the chilly evenings in August when we there. ★★★★★ The host, Esmi, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. She made sure we were aware of all the fittings and features of the house and how they worked. As it was quite cold when we were there really enjoyed the huge fireplace in the lounge. During the warmer spells we enjoyed sitting on the stoep and even had dinner outside one evening. ★★★★★ We spent two nights at this farm . Our accommodation ( the stoep Huisie) was attached to the main farm house about 50 meters from the owners daughter who was actually running the bnb. Upon arrival we made a mistake and stopped at the main house . We were not made to feel welcome at all. This was a pity and made us feel a little uneasy the rest of the stay.
