The property is fully fenced and has a remote control gate from Collett Street and sliding gate from Park Street. A carport with space for three cars and one open parking space for the Gray unit can be reached from Collett Street. From Park Street, guests can access a single carport shed and one open parking space for the Red Unit.

The garden has more than 70 rose bushes, 14 pomegranate trees, several lounge areas and a beautiful lawn in the summer months.

A daily cleaning service is available, but it excludes Christmas Day, New Year and Good Friday.

Clarens is situated on the foothills of the Maluti and Red Mountains and is often referred to as the "Jewel of the Free State". The lush trees and long sunny days make it a wonderful destination.
