About Gorges Lodge Victoria Falls

Gorges Lodge is situated just 22 km from the village of Victoria Falls, halfway between the village and the airport. The lodge is set on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, 250 metres above the mighty Zambezi River, with a magnificent view of the gorge.

The lodge offers 10 stone chalets with thatched roofs, each with en-suite bathrooms and wonderful views of the gorge. Features at the lodge also include a restaurant, bar facilities and a swimming pool.

The room is well appointed and the bathroom one of its best features, besides the balcony overlooking the gorge. 2 three quarter beds in the room is a bit odd, and as a couple who sleep in the same bed were left with a relatively small bed to sleep on. ★★★★★ I was surprised to find out not many South African's visit this lodge. What spectacular views and amazing sun rises/settings. Being in Zimbabwe we had to pay in $ and yes a bit pricey. Rooms we great and clean loved the nets over the beds for insects. The 'set menu' style should cater for patrons with different dietary likes and dis-likes.
