Gecko Lodge and Cottage is a large self-catering property located in the Idwala Camp of Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. The reserve is about 28 kilometres from Bela-Bela.This fully furnished property has one main lodge and one cottage. The main house is a double-storey and comprises five bedrooms and four bathrooms, and the cottage has one bedroom. In the main house, the master bedroom, fourth and fifth bedrooms each have a double bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. In the main house, the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, oven, stove and other appliances for guests to prepare meals. The living area slowly has a TV with full DStv and a DVD player.

The living area leads to a large boma with a fire pit and a swimming pool. There is also an additional braai area on the wooden deck. Guests can make use of the resort's facilities at their own expense.
