The house is owned by a family of farmers who have revamped the home to cater for large groups, with plenty of entertainment areas. The house comprises seven bedrooms of which five are en-suite. Most rooms North facing, are warm, there are extra blankets available for those rooms that are colder.

The kitchen is well-equipped to see to all your basic needs. Entertainment includes a large lounge boosting an open fireplace. Firewood is supplied, however, please bring your own charcoal or wood for the braai. An additional entertainment room can be used for conference facilities or to host a dinner or dancing party. There is DStv with limited channels is available.

Cellphone reception is good. The lodge is serviced on a daily basis. There are three dams close to the house.
