This Tuscan styled six-suite house is made up of fine linen and fluffy towels. All the rooms are furnished for maximum comfort, each with its own spectacular view. Three of the six double suites are on the ground level with easy access to the full bath & shower shared-bathroom. The other three double suites are upstairs with easy access to two spacious shower & toilet shared-bathrooms.

The fully equipped, spacious kitchen is ideal to prepare your meals if a traditional “braai” is not on the menu. The wood-fired pizza oven is also great for some adventurous cooking. You can dine at the rustic wooden table or outside on the terrace where you can continue to enjoy the magnificent mountain vistas.

Comfy couches and a TV is perfectly positioned in the main hall in front of the medieval fireplace. This is a great space to relax in, enjoy your favourite entertainment or just watching the flames from the fire on the cooler nights.

And for those amazing summer days, the pool is the place to be, soaking up the sun, taking in the view and fully relaxing.

Daily housekeeping is done and laundry facilities are available.

For the adventurous, you can explore the walking trails in the Milkwood forest or have a picnic at the dam. If you feel like just relaxing, absorb the stunning scenery, lounge in the warm South African sun as the only sounds to be heard are those of birds, the distant crashing waves and the late afternoon roars from the lions at the Big Cat Sanctuary, neighbouring Felicita.

You will get the feeling that you are a hundred miles away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, yet only a 15-minute drive from the historic village of Stanford. With biking and walking trails, wine farms, a cheese factory, regular farmer’s markets, breweries, gin distilleries, fine restaurants and beaches that stretch for kilometres. Felicita is also a mere 30 minute drive to Hermanus, the whale watching capital of South Africa which offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, entertainment and activities.

We pride ourselves for being free of alien flora species which is an ongoing problem in the Overberg region. Felicita has a low carbon footprint and is a self-sustaining, eco-friendly operation, which is off the national electricity grid, therefore un-phased by load shedding as all the facilities at Felicita are one hundred percent powered by solar and gas. The water supply is sourced directly from a natural spring which cascades into a stream that flows through the farmland and is carefully processed with a chemical-free filtration system, therefore, is pure as well as safe to drink.
