We are only 98km from the Lebombo border-post at Komatipoort. Come and experience the unspoiled and uncrowded beach that stretches for 80 km to Bilene in the north. We are located amongst pristine tranquil bush surroundings, ideal for bird-watchers and those needing to recharge in peaceful surroundings. Our premises is at the front-as close to the beach you can get.There is excellent deep-sea fishing for those fishermen looking to hook and hopefully land the big one.You can buy fresh fish,calamari and prawns from the locals on the beach,as they drag nets daily.Our shaded camp sites are only 250 m from the beach and offer electrical points, lighting, barbecue areas,ample shade and our shared ablution facilities has enough hot water,and is kept squiky clean. Our self-catering Chalets consist of two air-conditioned bedrooms, sleeping up to five people, with a bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, and own barbecue area. The units are only 130m from the beach. The Safari Cabin sleep up to five people in one air-conditioned, open-plan bedroom. The unit is only 110m from the beach and have private bathroom and kitchen facility on the outside. Day trips to the beautiful Inhaca and Portuguese Islands for snorkeling can be arranged, as well as fishing charters. Those with their own boats can take day trips to the islands for a lovely picnic, excellent seafood, scuba diving, snorkeling, or to simply walk around and enjoy what the islands have to offer. You can also do horse riding close by. Boats, quads, and jet skis are all welcome at Esperanca do Mar. There is a choice of restaurants nearby serving excellent seafood which is a must during your stay, or take a trip to Maputo and enjoy the vibrant city life and ample restaurants to choose from there.We do have 2 sparkling swimming pools to cool down in,and a bar and restaurant serving excellent food.We do have fun activities like Bingo,Quiz,and Karioke.
Please note that the last 200m of the road to our camp is very sandy, come with a 4x4 vehicle or at least a 2x4 SUV or "Bakkie" and deflate your tyres.Macaneta is a fun place to be!
