Emfuleni Country House is a lovely eight bedroom country house set in a tranquil, rural setting 6 km outside the town of Butterworth in the Eastern Cape. The establishment is popular with out of town contractors, providing clean, comfortable Accomodation at excellent value for money rates. There is borehole water . The country house is located 1 km from the Water Sisulu University and King Hintsa Technical College.Butterworth is surrounded by a beautiful countryside and guests can enjoy visits to the nearby villages such as Tobashana and experience the hospitality of traditional Xhosa living. Gcuwa dam is ideal for boating and fishing.Accommodation is offered in spacious and comfortable twin or double rooms, that each contain either a king-size bed or twin three-quarter beds. Each room features a shower en suite, a TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

★★★★★ The room was nice, neat and spacious. Love the tranquillity of the place. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The access control gate was not operational, and had to be handled manually, but we were told that it's going to be fixed soon. The telephone number on the outside of the premises should be updated, so that guests are able to phone when they arrive.
