Nestled in the beautiful town Thabazimbi which is only a 2.5 hour drive from Pretoria, close to the Waterberg Mountains and Marakele National Park, lies El Shadai Guesthouse. This is the perfect getaway for business people and a getaway week or weekend. We have a beautiful splash pool close to the lapa area where you can be sure to relax. We have a beautiful garden where you will be able to unwind after a busy day. DINNER AT MAROELA GARDENS
We do not serve dinner at Maroela Gardens. You have one of two options:
1. Dinner at Maroela Restaurant. The restaurant is situated at our main Lodge, 9 Maroela Street. We have an A-la-Carte Menu.
2. You can make use of Maroela On the Go where you can order take-away, delivered to your room within 55 minutes. Take-away orders close at 19:30. Menu will be available in your room.
**Guests with a dinner voucher/allowance - TAKE NOTE of the following:
1. Dinner allowance (voucher) is not allowed to be transferred to another person or to be credited for in cash.
2. You will not be allowed to take extra food and drinks out of the restaurant even if you have credits left on your voucher.
3. If you have checked out, you will not be allowed to use credits on your voucher.

Monday to Thursdays - 12:00 to 21:00 (kitchen orders closes at 19:45)
Fridays - 12:00to 23:00 (kitchen orders closes at 20:15)
Saturdays - Currently we will not be open
Sundays - 17:00 to 21:00 (kitchen orders closes at 19:45)

Please let us know the day before check-in if you have any special dietary requirements. We will not be held responsible if you only notify us by the time, you have your meal.

EXTRA GUESTS: You will have to report to reception and pay extra for your guest if he/she is not pre-booked by your company. If you do not report your guest to reception, you will be fined R1000 which is immediately payable.
ALCOHOL & SMOKING: You agree that you are not allowed to bring alcohol from outside.
We have a bar onsite. You are NOT allowed to drink in any public area other than the restaurant area. No smoking in rooms except for designated areas. You will be fined R2000 for smoking in areas other than what is designated.
WASHING: We will gladly do your washing. Please see booklet in your room for charges.
BREAKAGES: You will be responsible for any breakages and will be charged accordingly.
INVERTER & SOLAR SYSTEM: Our rooms are on our inverter & solar system. Please note that during loadshedding you will not be able to use your aircon and minimal use of kettles would be appreciated.
WIFI PASSWORD: Will be given on request or you will find it in the booklet in your room.
