About Elephant River Guest House, Clanwilliam, West Coast, Western Cape

Clanwilliam area is famous for the Cederberg Mountain Range, Hiking, San Rock Art, Rooibos tea tasting and tours, mountain biking, Flower Season - floral display in the veld and mountains, along the coastline too. Fishing, sports, wine-tasting, star gazing at an Observatory and lots more. The pristine Coastline of Lamberts Bay and Elandsbay with its Verlorenvlei Wetland Conservancy, delicious seafood.

We are set in a lovely, large bird filled, subtropical garden with an inviting swimming pool. Four sunny, comfortable garden chalets are available, they sleep eight guests. They feature a long stoep, chairs and own separate entrances.

En-suite, bedding, towels, comforters are all supplied. Fans, heaters, local TV, coffee/tea facilities, en-suite bathrooms are available. Braai facilities available, plates, knives and forks supplied. Off-street parking. Apologies, no wifi available at the moment.

We have four comfortable garden chalets. Two with antique double brass beds and two with twin beds. All units have en-suite bathrooms with showers, mosquito nets.

Take lovely walks through the old part of town and head into the famous Cederberg Mountains or beach.
Tours, beauty therapy, self-defence lessons, aerobics classes and Pilates can all be arranged for the active at an extra fee. You may rather sit, picnic and relax under the trees while admiring the mountains or stars as you are on holiday after all.

Family friendly: Guests/Parents - Please take note You may use the swimming pool entirely at your own risk. The owners and management of Elephant River Guest House cannot be held liable to any damage of property.
