About Dragon & Eagle

We have owned Dragon and Eagle Retreat for the last 30 years. The farm is 120 hectares and is about 55 kilometers northeast of Dullstroom. You will be the only other occupants on the farm. *Please note a 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation and the balance is payable prior to arrival as we have no credit card facilities.Cash on arrival is also acceptable for the balance of the payment.

*We do not charge a Damage deposit and trust in your integrity to look after our property and contents as you would at home. We trust in you to take responsibility and inform us should anything be broken during your stay.

Pet Policy:

We love animals and would love to welcome yours. Please note however that we require your animals to be well trained and that you bring their own blankets, toys etc. Please do not let them climb up onto the furniture or sleep on the beds. Please make sure that they are “flea-free”and that all their vaccinations are up to date. The property is fenced but we will not be held responsible if they should get hurt or escape. You will be responsible for cleaning up after your pets and will be responsible for them at all times. We will exercise the right to hold you responsible for cleaning up after your pets. We exercise the right to hold you responsible should for any damage that they may cause.

★★★★★ We loved the remoteness ,no distractions from TV. Greeting the sun with a cup of coffee on the huge verandah,and light a fire in Markus's " Spider" at night. Isolation at its best. ★★★★★ It was a lovely, cosy cottage to bond with family without the interuption of TV or Wifi. Back to basics. Took serene walks through the area. The un tarred roads were an issue. We didn't expect to drive on such roads..definitely need a 4X4! But it added to the rustic adventure. Markus was very welcoming and friendly..reminded us of going off to grandpa's farm.

★★★★★ We loved our stay! The house is beautiful inside and the owners are so nice. we arrived on Christmas day and they even made a nice Christmas lunch table for us. I you want to relax in the bush veld this is the place to go!!! Just make sure you have a SUV for the gravel road!
