The Down to Earth Guest House is situated at Herold’s Bay Resort on 70 hectares of grasslands, indigenous fynbos and forest with a scenic panorama of the ocean and the Outeniqua Mountain. The resort is located close to the Oubaai Golf Estate, two kilometre from Herolds Bay beach, five kilometre from George Airport and 17 kilometre from George. The Resort hosts the Down to Earth Restaurant - well known for its country cuisine and popular wedding and function destination. The Resort is also home to the rustic Bush Lapa open-air music venue. Down to Earth caters for 90pax; can be increased to 160pax with use of wooden deck. The Bush Lapa caters for up to 350pax. Top class catering options available by our Chef. Several Ceremony options available; including open-air overlooking the ocean.
Facilities up to 100 delegates; restaurant style seating plan, 40 delegates in the u-shaped. All multimedia equipment are catered for.
There is a big grass area, a kiddies jungle gym and swings.
