WILDE PAARDE KLOOF is a working fruit farm situated 3.7 km north of Ashton at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain, only 180 km away from Cape Town and 250 km from George. The 3rd bedroom is in the loft and the staircase to the loft may be dangerous for small children. Two bathrooms is central in the unit. There is an outdoor fireplace. Ashton is situated on the R62, between Robertson and Swellendam. It is an important wine producing and fruit processing centre and home to five wineries and a large cannery. At Wilde Paarde Kloof you can book activities like hands-on harvest, hands-on beekeeping, a tractor ride or a bush braai with Farmer Redbeard.You may do your own quad biking, hiking, birding, cycling or swimming in the dam.
