Kommetjie is only a short drive from the house and has managed to retain much of its rural appeal. Nestled between Slangkop Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, in one of the most beautiful and unspoilt settings in Cape Town, is Kommetjie’s Long Beach which has over five kilometres of white sand with waves ideal for surfing.

Imhoff Farm has converted farm buildings into a bakery, a tea garden, craft shops, art studios and a cheese dairy. There are also camel and horse rides for children.
