About Die Laaitjie

Named for the children's 'tag' game, Die Laaitjie is so called as it nestles in the smallest and last of the Dassieshoek valleys in the Langeberg mountains. Despite being so completely remote, the farm is only 7 kilometres from the centre of Robertson. The style of all the houses is simple and monastic, mostly decorated in an all-white, serene manner. All the houses have stoeps, an internal fireplace, as well as an external braai. There is also a communal swimming pool in the orchards, with a surrounding deck area.A long, scenic gravel road leads to Die Laaitjie, a 330 H
