It is a classic budget tented camp with spacious safari tents. This camp is perfect for guests looking for a real wilderness experience within an affordable price range.
It is strategically located within the conservancy and the tents have been designed to have minimal impact on the local environment. All the tents can either be sold as doubles, singles or twins depending on the client needs, but we can also, on very special request, squeeze in a 3rd bed to make a triple tent. However, we highly discourage triple occupancy to avoid restricting the space within the tents.
The restaurant offers a variety of delicacies drawn from across the continent and elsewhere our signature dishes are guaranteed to light up fireworks in your mouth.
The camp offers game drives in shared 4×4 land cruisers/ Safari Minivans which carry a maximum of six guests for comfortable seating and window seat guarantee. Clients also have the option of booking exclusive use of vehicles at supplement costs as you will be advised in our booking office. Guests can either enjoy our standard morning and afternoon game viewing, or full-day game viewing with picnic lunch boxes on request.
Our resident naturalist will guide you on a nature walk explaining the flora and fauna of the surrounding eco-system and the culture of the Masai community. He will also guide you in climbing the nearby Lenganishu hills that will give you a vantage view of the vast Serengeti plains, the walk takes about 3 hours for an average climber.
There is a 24-hour ground and air emergency response service from the flying doctor service, never the less, it’s advisable to have your own health insurance cover.
Getting to the camp is easier from the Ololaimutia gate of Masaai Mara game reserve which is next to the camp and Sekenani Gate. Air transport takes 30 mins from the Nairobi Wilson Airport to Keekorok airstrip which is 15 kilometers from the camp. By road, its 5 and a half hours drive from Nairobi.
