Situated on a farm just outside Fouriesburg, we have two cottages: The Nest is our cozy open plan wooden cottage which has stunning views of the ever changing Maluti mountains, with breathtaking sunrises and golden evenings. It has a double bed and a novel loft with a little den for little people which sleeps one or two children. A fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Real old fashioned country living, off the grid so we have gas 2 plate stoves, gas fridges, gas geysers and solar lights with a facility to charge cell phones. A photographers paradise. Meander down to our picturesque dam with a picnic basket and spend a lazy afternoon with a book.Take some time out to experience the peace and tranquility of our farm. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view of our horses grazing peacefully in their fields, while a chorus of birdsong lulls you into a state of relaxation.Leave behind the stress and worries of the world and enjoy a taste of off the grid living, getting back to basics and spending time away from computers and tv, and revive the art of conversation and contemplation.
