HOUSE RULES

Meals:
The following meals are available on request at an additional fee. Kindly note that any breakfast orders need to be placed by the night before and any dinner orders need to be placed by 15:00 that day:
- Full English breakfast served between 7:30 and 10:00 at R130 pp. Please advise what time you would like to sit down.
- A light lunch consisting of a sandwich and fruit juice at R80 pp.
- A more substantial lunch at R150 per person.
- A 3-course dinner will be served by candlelight under the African sky at R240 per person at 19:00. A set menu of authentic traditional South African dishes will be served. Vegetarian option available.
- Packed Breakfast/lunch available at R110 per person.

Braai facilities:
The guests staying in either the Upstairs or Downstairs rooms in the lodge, will have access to a communal boma with braai facilities (shared with other guests) - Cutlery and crockery will be provided. Should you wish to make use of this facility, kindly arrange at reception before 15:00. Guests might have to share the boma with others.
The guests staying in the Deluxe rooms in the lodge will have the exclusive use of a small open-air BBQ area.
The Self-Catering Unit and Self-Catering Bedroom each have exclusive use of a private boma with braai facilities.

Communal Swimming pool:
Access to the sparkling infinity swimming pool and open balcony at the lodge upstairs, with an exquisite view over Kruger Park and the Crocodile River, are available to all our guests.

WiFi
Free internet facilities are available to all our guests. Access in the main building of the lodge only.

Views:
Kindly note that the self-catering unit and the self-catering bedroom are semi-attached and are situated behind the lodge. Both of these units are facing the natural bushveld of the nature conservancy Marloth park, where animals wander around on a daily basis. Therefore, these accommodation options do not have views of the Crocodile River and Kruger Park.
The lodge rooms upstairs have an exquisite view over Kruger Park and the Crocodile River.
The Deluxe double rooms and the lodge rooms downstairs: Although these rooms are all facing Kruger Park and the Crocodile River, the views are that of the natural bushveld in front of the lodge. These rooms are all only 50 meters from the banks of the Crocodile River, which forms the border between us and Kruger Park.

Cleaning services:
Cleaning services are included in the rate.

Self-drive to Kruger Park in your own vehicle:
If you're planning to enter Kruger Park in your own vehicle, we strongly suggest that you pre-book on the SANParks website in order to guarantee your entry and avoid long queues. Our closest gate is the Crocodile Bridge Gate - only 18 km from us. Malelane Gate is 45 km from us.

Safaris, tours, and activities that we offer:
Kindly note that due to current restrictions due to Covid19, only some of our activities are currently available. Please enquire at the front desk. Please note that all safaris, tours, and activities need to be booked in advance, in order to secure your seat.

Additional Guests:
The lodge rooms downstairs, and the self-catering unit are all big enough to add an extra bed which can be provided on request. However, if the size of your party changes, please let us know as the rates are per person and an extra person will be charged an additional fee:
Children aged 1 and younger stay free.
Children aged between 2 and 11 pay 50% of the sharing rate.
Children aged 12 and older pay full price.

Television:
We are sure that one of the reasons why you've booked with us is because you have a deep desire to escape from city life, if only for a few days. Therefore we strongly believe that you would love the sounds of the African bush and its creatures. For this reason, there is no television in any of our accommodation facilities. However, for the TV enthusiast – there are big-screen TV's in a lot of the restaurants in the area very close to us.

Noise Pollution:
As it is a nature conservancy, no loud music is allowed. The security company in Marloth Park will arrive if they receive complaints, and a fine will be issued.
