About Bushman Valley
Bushman Valley is located within the Swartberg Private Nature Reserve - the area south of Prince Albert up to Eerstewater in the Swartberg Pass. The valley was occupied by San for thousands of years and is preserved in memory of them. Learn the hunter gatherer lifestyle of these fascinating people and see their implements, clothing and weapons.
Picnic and barbecue areas, camping and caravan sites have been provided in the valley, below towering cliffs. The lodge provides facilities for learning about Bushmen and buying souvenirs and refreshments.
