About Buckler's Africa

Buckler’s Africa is an informal private lodge in a stunning setting on the banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the Kruger National Park. The thatched property has high ceilings and cool terracotta covers over five hectares of garden and bush.

Relax by the swimming pool and watch game over the river or drive into the Kruger National Park, which is 7 km away. The Mozambique Coast or the mountains of Swaziland are both a little more than an hour’s drive. We provide airport transfers and secure parking.

★★★★★ I had booked a Deluxe Room with breakfast, dinner and 2 game drives, however when I got to the lodge I was told I have to pay for those separately. It would appear that it's just an advertising gimmick that they are included in the price.

Friendly warm atmosphere, owners very involved feel like old friends.Very clean, like the full house breakfast overlooking the Crocodile River / Kruger Park. Were very lucky to have the Elephants right at our doorstep and Buffalo. Will go back anytime. Warm regards Johan and Sanja Holtzhausen.

★★★★★ We spent the weekend at Bucklers Africa & were upgraded to the two bedroom unit which was fantastic & very private. We watched hippos, elephants & rhinos while we were swimming!Just a quick 5 minute drive to Crocodile Bridge & you're in the park.We will definitely be back!
