Breakerview Bay

Breakerview Bay is situated adjacent to the Trafalgar Marine Reserve. The Trafalgar Marine Reserve is a tiny area extending for only 6 km along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast and 500 metres offshore. The reserve is situated about eight kilometers to the south of the popular resort of Margate. The area incorporates the Mpenjati Nature Reserve of approximately 190 hectares whose mission is “To preserve, in perpetuity, the natural environment of forest types, dune vegetation and grasslands (including wet grassland) for the benefit of the animals, birds and other creatures occurring there.
