About Botterkloof Resort

Botterkloof Resort is situated along the Garden Route, 6 km from the picturesque town of Stilbaai on a working olive- and wine farm.

Well known for its focus to let guests relax and revitalize, Botterkloof offers 18 fully equipped self-catering cottages, ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms and 2 lovely bed and breakfast units. Some of the cottages are on the main resort and the other self-catering cottages are located on the working farm which is 1 km away from the main resort. Botterkloof facilities include a Swimming Pool, Children's Play Area, Bass Fishing and a vivid bird-life coupled with the sound of tranquility of nature that surrounds them, guests also have a magnificent view over the dams and the olive grove. For meditation and prayer, there is a beautiful chapel - or you can sit on the benches under the large Blue Gum trees to reflect.

★★★★★ Due to confusion in the price i.e. Advertised Price of R500 versus R640 invoice of Botterkloof Reserve, and lack of feedback from Hennie at Botterkloof as to this dispute, we never stayed at Botterkloof as arranged and paid for (R500).Hennie, on 3 occassions said to my wife, Isabel (Izzy), and on 1 occassion to me, that he will get back to us, failed to do so. ★★★★★ Loved everything, however as fellow guesthouse owners, unfortunately we have to be critical but constructive and realistically look at what was on offer. Someone has to check after rooms have been cleaned. Dust on furniture and stains on bedding. Please replace bathroom mats. A few minor improvements will improve your establishment greatly.

★★★★★ Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Only negative comment was that the apartment (De Bogger) we stayed in had the bedrooms and kitchen area all as seperate units. When booking the info only displayed as 1 unit and had we known this beforehand would have booked a different unit.

★★★★★ We stayed one night in Jana and did not have time to use the facilities of the resort. I quite liked Jana but my wife found it too spartan. Sofa tired otherwise everything worked and was in good order.

★★★★★ The place is beautiful and there is so much to do. The staff are awesome! Jodylique who runs the farmstall is fantastic! She talked us into a Gin tasting when we arrived and this turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. Love, love, love this place!
