About Blaauwbosch Trout Inn

Blaauwbosch Trout Inn is situated just outside Waterval Boven, on the edge of the Highveld, with wonderful views of the Elandsvalley. We offer four self-catering units; The Log Cabin sleeping 11 people, The Farm House which sleeps 7, The Chalet that sleeps a couple, and The Bunk House which sleeps 10. Guests also have access to the heated fun pool, while horses on the property add to the peaceful atmosphere. Activities include fly-fishing for trout, birdwatching, mountain biking, and walking. Ancients ruins can also be viewed on the 103-hectare property.

★★★★★ We enjoyed our stay and felt they were very accommodating. Signage to get to the venue could be improved as we got a bit lost. Otherwise, fabulous! Thank you!

★★★★★ The unit (Umhlanga) was beautiful and cozy and clean. The area of improvement is to deep clean the shower. It was dirty and there was no hot water coming out. But overall I liked the courtesy from the management. We were allowed to check out late and get a proper shower after the marathon event.
