Bernally's Fishing Lodge is a peaceful getaway situated in the heart of the Magaliesburg. The quaint thatched cottage offers the perfect quiet retreat ideal for a couple. It has an open-plan design with a lounge, bedroom, bathroom ( bath ) and kitchen.
The lounge area has seating and a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, a toaster, a 2 plate gas stove a kettle, toaster and basic cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils. The cottage has a private patio and braai area looking over the dam.

Chalet Kingfisher is a fully equipped for self-catering. The unit has two bedrooms furnished with double beds with bedding as well as a small kitchen with fridge/ freezer, basic crockery and cutlery as well as basic cooking utensils. There is a bathroom ( shower ).
There is a lounge area with cosy fireplace and the patio has a table and six chairs as well as a braai and spot to make a nice campfire.

The Giant Heron Chalet is ideal for large families and is fully equipped for self-catering. The unit has 2 bedrooms furnished with double beds with bedding. there is a double sleeper couch in the lounge area with bedding. there is a kitchen with fridge/freezer and bathroom ( shower ). there is a lounge area with fireplace. on the patio there is a braai and a table and 6 chairs. there is also a natural rock splash pool for your use. There is also a lappa next to the unit with a large bar counter and bar stools if you wish to do a bit of partying.
There is a large braai and a spot to make a nice campfire.

For campers wishing to bring their own tents, campers or caravans, there are 40 campsites available near the water. There are plug points, lamp posts and taps at each site. please note these plug points are only for extra lights, cell phones lap tops bare fridges, please bring gas to cook on and boil water, no kettles or hot plates can be run on these plug points.
Communal ablutions for men and ladies are available with hot and cold water as well as wash up are for dishes etc.

The rate displayed is for site hire only and an additional cost of R100 per person per night is applicable. The property has four dams with bass, red and blue kurper, barbel, yellow fish and carp.

Please note we are mainly a bass and fly fishing facility, no specimen carp fishing can be done, however we do stock all the other fish species. Please note our main dam is empty due to bad rainfall, however the two smaller dams are low however fishing is good.
