There is nothing quite like escaping to the peace and splendour of the unspoilt countryside, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, a mere 45 km from Wakkerstroom, nestled between berg and vlei, lies this charming country cottage. The cottage has two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom, and the other with twin single beds. Both these rooms have views of the dam and mountains. There is another bathroom and an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with fireplace. Upstairs is an open loft area with three single beds on the one side,
Lots of fun for the whole family. Swim in the dam, go for walks, fishing (bring own rod). There is also a little sand pit next to the cottage, parents can relax on the veranda while the children play.
This is a great place for a romantic getaway, lovely veranda with great views, lots of stars at night. When it's too cold to sit outside the couches and fireplace inside are very cosy and ideal for snuggling.
Our cottage is cleaned before guests arrive and once they have left. We also always have at least a day between the departure of one group and the arrival of the next.

A SUV is needed to get to the cottage because the last stretch of the road is not so good.
